These books are some of my most anticipated releases, this list will change over time as I read new series or as the books release. When books on this list do release I will change this and leave the book on here for a week or two.

The Core (The Demon Cycle) – Peter V. Brett

Now although I know many people disliked the sequels to “The Painted/Warded man” I for one hope that Brett can deliver a strong conclusion to his series, it most certainly has given me enough enjoyment to deserve it.

Oathbringer (Stormlight Archive) – Brandon Sanderson

I don’t think I have found a book written by Brandon Sanderson that I dislike, I am constantly left waiting, albeit for a short time, for his next book, whether it’s Mistborn or Stormlight Archive or his numerous other stories, I just can’t get enough of the Cosmere, luckily the fan theories make for great reading.

The Golden Fire (Heir of Night) – Helen Lowe

Helen Lowe has steadily been building up to a superb conclusion to her incredible series, I can find very few faults with the first three books, the first is definitely the weakest but pressing through is definitely worth it. You can read my review of the series so far starting here.

The Light of All That Falls (Licanius Trilogy) – James Islington

Both book 1 and 2 are recommended somewhere on my site, if you haven’t read them do yourself a favor and do it.

Godsgrave (Nevernight Chronicles) – Jay Kristoff

If you haven’t read my review, found here, then first go do that, now you can understand why I am very much looking forward to my next foray into Kristoff’s world. Godsgrave has been released and can be found by clicking above.

Godblind Sequel – Anna Stephens

I loved the first book and can’t wait to jump back into the story, just as soon as I re-read Godblind to remember who everyone is. You can read my review of Godblind here.

Thorn of Emberlain (Gentleman Bastards) – Scott Lynch

Whilst it has been delayed, I have been happy to wait for my next trip into Locke’s world, Lynch has created brilliant characters who I constantly find myself rooting for even when I perhaps shouldn’t, I eagerly await the next book.

Book 3 (Dracornis Memoria) – Anthony Ryan

Having only recently picked up books 1 and 2 of this series, I had no idea what I was missing, now I join the rest of you in waiting for book 3. Ryan has developed an interesting world with great characters to go along with it, the first books in the series are an excellent read.

Book 8 (Half-Orcs) – David Dalglish

Although I haven’t read all of his other works set outside the world of Desriel I still eagerly await more stories of the Harruq and Qurrah in their adventures. You can find my review of the books of this series, starting here with The Weight of Blood.

Doors of Stone (Kingkiller Chronicles) – Patrick Rothfuss

Not much to say really, it must be one of the most anticipated fantasy books, I will assume you have read the others of the series and are waiting like the rest of us. @IsBook3OutYet on twitter is the best place to check its availability.

Book 4 (Chronicle of the Exiles) – Marc Turner

I have loved every page of the first three parts in this series and am eagerly awaiting the fourth, you can read my reviews of the first 3 books starting here, with When the Heavens Fall.
